The Forbidden Empire was also marketed as Viy 2. I has not been written by Gogol and it shows. This horror / dark fantasy movie should be buried in the swamps of Ukraine that the movie forgot to place the story into, making it instead take place in an entirely different country even thought the characters still look Ukrainian. Wtf movie?
